02Douglas Lake & the French Broad
Lake lots, river bottoms and ridges.
TVA’s Douglas Lake backs the French Broad up through Jefferson, Sevier and Cocke counties, and Dandridge sits on its north shore. Lake lots slope toward the water, bottomland near the rivers floods, and the ridges between are clay over rock. Each one changes how a house site, driveway or septic system has to be built.
